This weekend will be a four-day weekend for students. Friday is a Teacher Institute Day. Monday there is no school in honor of Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples Day.

MCHS had 22 graduates from the Class of 2025 report that they would be pursuing employment/career paths with companies or unions who attend the MTI Expo. AVID is a 45-year-old national program that includes an elective class, where the goal is to help students achieve greater success in both the classroom and in their future. This is MCHS' third year as an AVID school.

Freshman Campus celebrated Dot Day by drawing art on the sidewalk, Monday. Dot Day is meant to boost courage in one's creativity and was inspired by the book, "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds.
