Students voted for their favorite franchises March Madness style: Introduction to Business students researched and presented potential franchise opportunities for the McHenry area as part of their unit on forms of business ownership. Students and staff are getting in on the action by voting for their favorite franchise using a tournament bracket system modeled after the popular college basketball series.

Congratulations to Melanie Kadlec and Joun Aubert, our newest AVID Warriors! They completed the twelve-hour AVID strategies training. AVID is a 45-year-old national program that includes an elective class, where the goal is to help students achieve greater success in both the classroom and in their future. This is MCHS' third year as an AVID school.
