Students in Mr. Kirk's Introduction to Computer Science class worked on problem solving Friday by building towers out of paper. They had two attempts and 20 sheets of paper.

Due to impending inclement weather, school is canceled for Thursday, Dec. 22. Students will take Day 2 finals on Monday, Jan. 9 when we return from break.
In addition, all activities, athletic practices and athletic competitions are canceled Thursday and Friday, Dec. 23.

Over 100 MCHS students, staff, and parents delivered presents on Sunday morning to assist McHenry Rotary Secret Santa distribute over 8,000 gifts to over 1800 area children! This was our ninth year helping deliver for this great event! Thank you to all!
Therapy golden retrievers Keenie (Christmas bandana) and Oakley (McHenry Police Department) visited UC students during lunch hours to help relieve stress for finals while Student Services served hot chocolate. This also happened on Monday at Freshman Campus. (previously posted)
Congrats to our December 2022 graduates! Today they had a December Grad Breakfast, an idea brought to you by Dr. Prickett's student Renaissance team. Some of the "Ren" students helped serve the grads breakfast. We have 53 December grads total! (a few of them pictured here)
Student Services passed out hot chocolate to freshmen on Monday. They were also visited by Oakley (Golden Retriever from McHenry Police Department) and Scooby (Goldendoodle) to help students destress before finals. Thank you, Oakley and Scooby! This will happen at the UC on Tues.
Great job to all our cast and crew who participated in the Freshman Campus play, "Mutually Assured Destruction!" The play consisted of vignettes depicting siblings from different decades. We also had freshmen art that was featured outside of the auditorium. #WarriorReady156
