On Sept. 14, MCHS is hosting two postsecondary sessions for all students and families.
A college planning session will be held at 6 p.m. in the UC Warrior Room, followed by a workforce training session at 7:30 p.m.
Both will be streamed live the following morning on YouTube.

Our Surround Sound students were honored to be a part of the McHenry 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at Veteran's Memorial Park Monday morning. Our students back at school also took a moment of silence in remembrance. #neverforget

Students at both campuses set up flags in remembrance of the first responders that lost their lives during 9/11. The flags will be on display this weekend if anyone wants to drive by the campuses to view them. #neverforget

Mindy McGinnis, author of the award-winning young adult novel "The Female of the Species" and others, spoke about her writing experiences to sophomore English students. She encouraged those interested in writing to do a lot of reading and practicing.

It's Thankful Thursday! The Freshman Campus staff nominated other members who are going above and beyond. This week we'd like to celebrate Building Maintenance Technician Ryan Sluga and Special Education Instructors Hannah Olsen and Amber Pringle! #ThankfulThursday



At the Freshman Campus Family Engagement Night there will be gear for sale in the cafeteria from 6:30-8:30! Shirts were conceptualized by our Business Marketing students, designed by our Warriors Ink students and are being sold by our Business Professionals of America club.


Freshman Campus Art Club met for the first time this year and tattooed bananas with push pins. Tattoo artist and student teacher from ISU, Ivan Hernandez, also came to speak to the students. Students then explored with Bic tattoo markers that are safe for the skin.
