Last week students in our AVID9 elective classes took a field trip to UW-Parkside to learn about their programs and offerings. Students took a tour of the campus and learned about what they can do now as freshmen to help open doors when making future choices. Our students' art is on display for the Fox Valley Conference Art Exhibition at McHenry County College (MCC). Their pieces and pieces from other local high schools will be available for viewing through 4/14. You can visit the art in person in the lower wing of Building A at MCC.

Art students set up an activity table during lunches in honor of March being Youth Art Month. There were coloring pages and origami available for students who walked by. One of the coloring books was designed by our own MCHS art students! #YouthArtMonth

Ms. Bennett's Spanish students simulated an international flight! Students were all successful in obtaining their boarding passes, going through security and completing their customs declaration form. Next week they will explore activities to enjoy while traveling abroad.
