Mr. Hillier's Stagecraft students used shoeboxes to create white models, which are used by designers to initially pitch their set designs to directors and producers.
These models were designed for four-minute scenes the students were assigned.

Students at both campuses set up flags in remembrance of the first responders that lost their lives during 9/11. The flags will be on display this weekend if anyone wants to drive by the campuses to view them. #neverforget

Mindy McGinnis, author of the award-winning young adult novel "The Female of the Species" and others, spoke about her writing experiences to sophomore English students. She encouraged those interested in writing to do a lot of reading and practicing.

Junior Gavin Ross, pictured with Mr. Storlie, was recognized for participating in the Manufacturing Pathways Consortium summer internship program at a recent celebration at MCC.
The program offers paid summer internships with about 20 local manufacturing businesses.
On Sept. 14, MCHS is hosting two postsecondary sessions for all students and families.
A college planning session will be held at 6 p.m. in the UC Warrior Room, followed by a workforce training session at 7:30 p.m.
Both will be streamed live the following morning on YouTube.
