English Teacher Cara Vandermyde started using a green screen for online class sessions Wednesday as a creative way to engage students in digital learning. During English 3 discussions on the Puritans, students were able to see a Puritan village in the background.

SAT for seniors: MCHS will administer the SAT with essay test to seniors on Sept. 23, along with an optional practice test on Sept. 4. Watch for letters to come home, and visit the district's website for details.

McHenry West Campus Senior Fernanda Betancourt completed Army Basic Combat Training over the summer and is back home to finish senior year and graduate in 2021. She scored highest among all females in her battalion on the Army Combat Fitness Test.
