After safely arriving in Washington D.C., the nearly 100-member group in the McHenry County Honor Flight for veterans toured the Capitol, the Navy Memorial and the Air Force Memorial.

Students at both campuses made posters and wrote letters to veterans ahead of the Honor Flight return this Sunday. We were thrilled with the turnout! Come join us in welcoming home our veterans from their flight this Sunday, Aug. 28 at 2:30 p.m. in the Upper Campus Main Gym.
Students from two Consumer Education-Blended Learning classes joined together to complete a paycheck scavenger hunt. Scavenger hunt activities included calculating gross and net pay, reading a paycheck stub and understanding payroll deductions. #WarriorReady156
