Homecoming 2023 Campus Tours Saturday, September 30 Freshman Campus Tours from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 1012 N Green Street McHenry. Use the rear student entrance. Last tour will be at 10:30 a.m. Upper Campus Tours from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 4724 Crystal Lake Road, McHenry Use the North East Main entrance. Last tour will be at 11:30 a.m.

Mindy McGinnis, author of the award-winning young adult novel "The Female of the Species" and others, spoke about her writing experiences to sophomore English students. She encouraged those interested in writing to do a lot of reading and practicing.

On Sept. 14, MCHS is hosting two postsecondary sessions for all students and families. A college planning session will be held at 6 p.m. in the UC Warrior Room, followed by a workforce training session at 7:30 p.m. Both will be streamed live the following morning on YouTube.
