East Campus honored 60 Class of 2021 members who earned the Distinguished Warrior honor for academic excellence and school involvement. The Sunday event featured speeches from alumni who encouraged graduates to use the challenging year as fuel for future success.

Class of 2021 members who earned academic or athletic honors, scholarships and other awards were celebrated Wednesday at East and West. Senior Honors Night continues Thursday at West.
Class of 2021 members were awarded nearly $6 million in scholarships and awards.

Students in AP Environmental Science classes are embarking on a native Illinois ecosystem restoration project that involves taking inventory of plants at the campuses, then making recommendations to rebuild native areas. They'll be preparing a report for the District 156 board.

Last week, six MCHS students competed in the @IHSA_IL State Journalism Tournament. They are Rachel Kaminski, Josie Cable, Ciara Duncan, Emma Snyder, Corissa Phannenstill, and Jenna Ernst.
