Fifty-two students from MCHS are participating in the BPA state conference

Fifty-two McHenry Community High School students are joining with other Illinois high school students in this weekend’s Business Professionals of America state leadership conference in Oak Brook.

They’ll work with more than 1,200 students from more than 50 high schools throughout the state for the weekend conference.

The event includes several competitions in marketing, computer science, business support and more. MCHS students participating come from our INCubator, Accounting, Marketing, Computer Science classes.

The Business Professionals of America is a national organization for students to develop career and technical skills in a variety of fields, including entrepreneurship, graphic design, finance, information technology and more. The MCHS chapter started a few years ago.

Students successful in state-level competitions have the opportunity to compete in the National Leadership Conference in May in Orlando.
