More than 40 McHenry County businesses and educational programs are planning to gather on Oct. 2 at McHenry Community High School’s Upper Campus to meet with students and families interested in learning more about careers in manufacturing, trades, industry and health care.
The annual MTI Career Expo is planned for 6-8 p.m. Oct. 2 McHenry High School’s Center for Science, Technology and Industry at Upper Campus, 4724 W. Crystal Lake Road, McHenry.
Representatives from participating organizations and businesses set up tables throughout the 200 level and the 300 level at Upper Campus to hand out information and talk with students and families. Students and families can visit different tables to learn about a variety of careers in manufacturing, technology, industry, health care and more. There is also plenty of information about education pathways to attain those careers, including high school programs, college degrees, internships and more.
